Before ordering, I looked at the Size Chart and decided that based on my measurements - I should order a Size 6. I actually wear a Small (8-10) in Adidas Woman's Original Trainer and in Adidas's leggings/tights because I hate that cut-in-half tight pantyhose look that happens from the stretchy waist band. After reading the conflicting reviews, I asked a Sizing Question:"Reviews say this skort runs small. I'm 5'6"; & 130lbs; 30-30-37. Considering a size 6. should I size up?";I got several replies (THANK YOU ALL) but, again, they were conflicting. Ultimately, it depends on your body shape and the fit you prefer. Are you long waisted, short waisted? Are you curvy or straight? Are you soft-bodied or ultra-fit?As I stated in my question, "I'm 5'6"; & 130lbs; 30-30-37&". I would say I'm average build (25-29% body fat) but on the straight side. At the time of this purchase, I'm a 46 y/o mother of 3 grown children, so my core is on the soft side. I'm at that age where my skin just doesn't have the elasticity it once did, so anything tight around my waist makes me look like I have a muffin top. Because of this, my size range is very wide: XS-M or 2-8.After a very helpful response by someone who has the same size, weight, measurements, etc. I went with the Size 6. According to the size chart (and let's be real here, nobody can really trust the Amazon size chart) a Medium will fit a waist size of 29-31 and is absolutely no help at all because these are numerical sizing. (Just shoot me now!) Now, I'm pretty diligent. Even though I honestly question the authenticity of most "name brand" items sold by a third party, I checked the Adidas website. According to Adidas:Woman Size Waist HipsXS (4 - 6) 24 - 26"; 34 - 36";S (8 - 10) 27 - 28"; 37 - 38";M (12 - 14) 29 - 31"; 39 - 41";Okay... I've never really been able to wear a Medium in Adidas, and it's been ten years since I've considered myself XS; in anything other than Lularoe.I'm usually either a Size 4 in items targeted for women over 30 or a Size 6 in items targeted for women under 30 in anything that does NOT have an elastic waistband. However, based on some reviews, I considered ordering up. Luckily, someone in the Amazon Community was shaped just like me.I went with the Size 6 and it is the perfect size! The waist fits perfectly, at least perfectly the way I see perfect. The waist is a slight bit loose, without any gapping. The waistband gently rests against my skin, and I can still run a finger between it and my body. The hips are fitted, but roomy enough to walk, run, sit, etc. without restrictions or creeping up/falling down and I don't look like I'm wearing a bell. To be honest, the fitness shorts underneath keep the skort where they need to be, so there really is no need for a tight waistband. That being said, the shorts are stretchy - like bicycle shorts, but they are not so tight that they leave pinch rings around the thigh.I believe that a smaller Size 4 would have "fit"; but I think I'd that cut-in-half belted look (as if wearing tight pantyhose); and, a larger Size 8 would have simply been too big, and I would have looked like the ringing Liberty Bell when I walked.I don't play golf. I bought these because I walk about 5 miles every morning and I wanted something somewhat short for exercising that wasn't butt-tight bicycle shorts or short-short running shorts. These sporty skirts are short enough to stay cool on summer walks without showing any of my middle-aged flaws.Hopefully, this helps you.Despite feeling a little snug, it was otherwise a comfortable fit. I don’t have a problem with other size 4 fits. I am 5’ tall and 111 lbs. It is a reasonable length for an “older” golfer measuring 5’. This particular item had a slight pucker in the back yoke. I don’t think it was my body, it’s the way it was sewn. But, it’s not severe and is still quite wearable.Wears we’ll, but a bit too short waisted.Cute and appropriate for my daughter. Love the color. It's a bit tight for size 0 but super cute and resonableI should have bought one size bigger. It fits, but it is so tight in the pocket area the pocket outlines stick out quite a bit because of the type of fabric. It was true to size. Good fitNice skort!I cant give a proper review as this skort is a christmas present. It looks fine and im sure it will serve its purpose.La falda esté muy linda y me va bien para el clima cálido y húmedo. Sí la compraré en más colores.La talla es correcta, la falda es bonita y muy cómoda. Me gusta mucho que se le puede poner cinturón.FitsPerfect fit but I only buy brands that I already have:
